Or maybe our universe is trapped inside a black hole that's trapped inside another black hole.

Or maybe that black hole is trapped inside another black hole that's trapped inside another black hole that's trapped inside another black hole, etc., etc.

It's like the mythological idea that the Earth is supported on the back of a tortoise standing on the back of another tortoise and there're "tortoises all the way down."
