Well, I don’t know about all this. They say certain traits are associated with psychopaths, and then they say CEOs, who must have had to work with people and plan ahead, as well as avoiding certain bad behaviors, are psychopaths! Same with surgeons.
I feel like either their diagnostics or their applications are off somehow.
Psychopath is not a psychiatric diagnosis. It has some predictive forensic utility but is not found in the DSM.. Antisocial personality disorder is similar but not the same. Identifying the psychopath is done using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist, which has twenty items.
