Except for my time in the Army I've lived 99% of my life within a 30 mile radius of the Bunker Hill Monument. However over the last 20+ years the only time I set foot in the City of Boston is for health care and the airport.

I don't shop in Boston...go to the movies there...or to sporting events...or to restaurants...or to anything! And I don't see that changing in the next 20+ years.

I live north of you over the NH border.
The only time I go to Boston is to Logan airport or the occasional Red Sox game.

Years ago my wife and I used to go in and spend a weekend there in the winter. Stay at one of the nice hotels and eat at a fancy restaurant. We have not done that in many years.
