While most of the earth has warmed slightly over the decades, Antarctica has seen virtually no warming at all. This is true even though there is some ice loss in the west due to geothermal heating. Alarmists who want to pick on Antarctica have a rough row to hoe.

You do understand about the prime meridian that separates the nominal “west” from the nominal “east, right? So from 0* to 180* is west, and from 180* to 359*59’59” is east.

With the south freezing, the north melting and magnetic north wandering, it kind of makes you wonder if the Earth's axis is tilting more relative to its orientation with the sun.
