Desire? Who wouldn’t in the situation, fact is we are not sending soldiers like Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria
What they desire is the weapons to defend themselves, most of which were built to fight the Soviets/russians
If you mean as part of a peace force after the fighting ends, then yes, but you said he called for Americans forces to fight with them in this war.
