Censure immediately. Take away security clearance if any.
From looking at this again today, what can be said? Both women knew what they were doing. Comparable intelligence and emotional maturity are probably around jr high level. Both want attention. I tend to side with professionals who would point out mental health personality disorders in both. Probably Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
1. Their constituents need to vote them out immediately. Special election or recall.
2. Their action in this post is obviously to incite violence, But they both also seem to have a desire, like all narcissists, to achieve attention and what psychologists call fuel. It can be both positive and/or negative. In this case both women are drawing negative fuel. I’d say they want the Speaker to censure and remove them from their committees. I believe the goal is to achieve a martyr designation “for the cause” attached to both of them.
Sadly, their actions only energize a segment of our society that is easily influenced due to mental instabilities.
Will we see people hurt or worse because of this posting? Could very well. And both women are smart enough to know this.
My thoughts:
1. Both congresswomen need to lose every committee seat they have.
2. Congressional censure.
3. Legislation needs to be passed. All Congressional protections and immunities must be stripped from congressmen and women who pull these stunts. The judicial playing field needs to be level to hold assholes responsible for their actions. People like you and me, who ultimately suffer due to their actions, need to be able to sue these assholes and law needs to hold them accountable and make them pay for their actions.
In the end, I’d like to see them both removed from Congress. This however is a pipe dream.
