Oh no! I guess this means Racheal Maddow, Joy Reid and Nicole Wallace won’t be getting the kennedy Center honors award anytime soon. Good, glad to see this. The DemoMarxist domestic enemies have been commandeering these institutions for far too long solely to push their sick agenda.

I’d like to make a suggestion here...for the center. Can’t they go and get conservative comedians lined up for every Tuesday night, and offer up tickets at discount for GI’s stationed in the ‘ring’? You could fill the place up easily with 2k.

Opera is beautiful.
I started bringing my children to the opera when they were young. They all loved it, so much so that they still listen to it.

My daughter loves opera too. There aren’t many places that can accommodate a huge opera production.I hope they keep a few operas annually.

No more Hamilton clowning about for you! Talk about your cultural appropriation. That is only OK for blacks! though that stupid show has Hispanics too.
I just realized that the commies of color might put on a Trump farce. With an all black cast as the Trump administration, jumping jiving around and singing. Unless their NGO had its Federal funds cutoff.

How is it funded? I thought it was just your basic NGO regional opera company. Small one at that. Hope it is not like NPR or PBS.
If so, yes, scrap it.

Isn’t it downright cute how often the leftist media frames it that way when Republicans win elections?
The GOP has SEIZED control of the Kennedy Center a mere six weeks after SEIZING control of the White House, Senate and House.
And just think how different things would be if they hadn’t SEIZED control of the Supreme Court.

Yes, they are beyond tiresome. Also the following phrases were used:
he axed existing members...
Trump gutted the board
Pretty violent stuff.

The Kennedy Center is set up as a public-private entity. The government donated the land and provides funding for the upkeep of the facilities. The Center funds its operations through ticket sales and private donations.
It was established in the Eisenhower administration, but they didn’t raise enough money through donations to open it until the early 1970s.
