The only reason people use profanity like you did is because Hollywood movies manipulate them into thinking it somehow elevates their status.
You certainly have something there. The “F” word is in just about every movie now for quite some time. And it is not occasional, it’s practically in every scene for some flicks.
There are many reasons why movies from the 30’s through the 90’s are so watchable. The lack of extreme foul language is one of them.
And there are those that simply do no think taking the Lord’s name in vein is cussing.
