That's awful. At first, I thought the circumstances were extremely suspicious (husband, wife and dog dead, no signs of forced entry, no weapon, no evidence of a crime, no scent of gas, no bodily harm, etc.). But the conclusion does make sense. Gene Hackman's wife died and he had Alzheimer's at age 95, probably had no clue what to do. I'm a little surprised Gene didn't eventually go outside and wander around his neighborhood but I guess with Alzheimer's, there's no telling how a person would react.
The conclusion makes sense. Gene was a great actor, very believable. RIP
Advanced Alzheimer’s restricts mobility. Ex’s G-father was bed bound for 20 years. Had no idea of the identity the women that visited him, fed him, washed him, talked to him, every day, for 20 years. (His wife.) He couldn’t talk, couldn’t focus, would panic when he saw what was, to him, a stranger. It was a horror show.
