White privilege....
I totally agree! Some of the whitest sand around!
The beach in front of my condo in Fort Walton Beach FL is much whiter than that.
Using this thread to promote The Durrells in Corfu (Greece). An excellent series, a must watch!
I didn’t realize you had a condo at Fort Walton Beach. Do you rent it out or live there? We vacation to Okaloosa almost every year.
I’ve lived all over Florida and there are places between Apalachicola and Cedar Keys where the sand is truly as white as snow. Blinds the eyes.
Much whiter than these pics in Greece.
Decades ago, when I lived in Pensacola, the sand on Pensacola Beach was not only white but soft as powdered sugar
I remember Buckner Bay in Okinawa being really white but that was 60 years ago.
“How was this study for the whitest sand conducted? The methodology that the experts from CV Villas used involved a complicated process. They captured unedited Google map images of the selected beaches and then used a color dropper tool to identify the RGB code of the sand.”
No one else who knows Google Earth well catch the fact that this is actually impossible?
Across the Med at Mersa Matruh, Egypt, you will find a beach so white it can be blinding at mid-day.
Meanwhile two beaches in the British Isles have the whitest beachgoers. They’ll burn under a full moon.
I live there part time, I also have a place in east central Mississippi. Okaloosa Island is beautiful, the beaches are among the best on the planet.
