I don’t see near as many along the Gulf of America coast as I did 40 years ago. I believe the alligators have found them to be pretty tasty.
“I wont get into cannibalism. Adam Schiff, the penultimate swamp rat isn’t good, even with A1 or Famous Dave’s Sweet & Zesty BBQ Sauce”
Poison and toxic to the bone. Nah, take the swamp critter to Florida and drop him off. Alligators gotta eat too.
And we know what we’d like the gubmit sewer-dwellers to eat.
The spicier the better!...............
They taste just like squirrel and are high in protein.
A shotgun is the best remedy.
How do you kill them, without tearing the animal apart with bullets? I, personally don’t have hunting experience.
How clean/safe would the meat be? Don’t they eat garbage?
“Penultimate” means “second to last “.
Since it’s an invasive species, we could market it to ENVIRONMENTALISTS as a ‘sustainable’ food source that helps to save da erf................
A lot of those rodents were at Trump’s speech last night.
“Oh snap.” The link is gone cracker-dog.
It’s good sized like a beaver and as far as I know they are vegetarians primarily but will eat a crawdad or mussel when they can............................
I refuse to consume democrats .
Many years ago in high skrool I’m out bow fishing and float up on a nutria. At the time, I thought it would be a great idea to shoot it with an arrow, my only arrow. Now I had a very angry nutria with my only arrow and nothing else but an oar.
Known as a little beaver in some locales.
Mmmmmm, little Beaver Cleaver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
“Hannibal, you were a little hard on the Beaver last night.” Clarice
Sheared nutria pelts make beautiful coats.
And -- A nutritional source: Nutria for Human Consumption
Like take out? You probably already have eaten them.
Eating rodents is not my thing....but people have been eating Nutria in Louisiana since people were in Louisiana.
They’re Nutria-icious!
