The measles vaccine has saved tens of millions of lives and for the most part, it is a very safe and very effective vaccine. Vaccines that work are great... The Covid vaccines didn’t, but that doesn’t mean that ‘all’ vaccines don’t work.

Smallpox was eliminated in the 20th century with the last known case of naturally occurring smallpox occurring in 1977. Now it only exist in a lab... And if somebody releases it and you aren’t vaccinated... You better get vaccinated as quickly as possible.
