The bill states that a pharmacist is protected from disciplinary action under these three scenarios:

* The pharmacist failed in good faith to correctly interpret and follow the standing order upon dispensing ivermectin.

* There was a defect in the standing order which the pharmacist relied on when dispensing ivermectin.

* The pharmacist refuses to dispense ivermectin upon the request of an individual, even in the case of an existing standing order for Ivermectin signed by a health care provider and authorized by the State Board of Pharmacy covering the pharmacist’s employer or practice.

Background: Resistance against use of Ivermectin was overtly politicized at the regulatory level. It's hard to prescribe Ivermectin and maintain a doctor's license.

So the Alabama legislature is considering making Ivermectin available OTC.

Another evil byproduct of licensing.

Uh-oh, you don’t have a license to make a living anymore.

Anyone who supports the physician-gatekeeper model is a fool or a paid tool.

I just ride my horse to the farmer’s supply store.

He asks for it.

Ivermectin without zinc (oxide or gluconate) on intestinal worms is quite useless regarding viruses. As a zinc ionophore, it helps transport the zinc ion across the cell membrane at less than poisonous blood concentrations. Once inside the cell, the zinc greatly hinders a virus from replication, which otherwise the man-made virus induces the immunity function to release a storm of cytokines, which then occludes the lungs from in getting oxygen into the blood, thus causing respiratory death from inability to 'breathe.'

At least, that is my understanding from reading about it.

Now, to say the very important point, any zinc ionophore (transporter) (click here) will do the job: hydroxychloroquine (also prescriptive), hinokitiol (Japanese origin), pyrithione, but especially quercetin, a flavonoid found in apple skins and other fruits and vegetables.

It is therefore a food substance, safe for consumption, and found in almost any vitamin shop. It is as effective as the others mentioned, and has been of late the subject of several bioscience medical papers with very positive results regarding action to suppress COVID-19 symptoms, improving one's survival of the epidemic recently visited on the global human population.

No one can prevent you from having and using the combination of the quercetin plus zinc compound non-prescribable foodstuffs, a protocol which helps you avoid influenza sickness in general (my grandmother died of the 'Spanish Flu' in November 1918).

I have taken the suggested protocol with vitamin C, as well as vitamin D3 also recommended by itself, since the beginning of the epidemic in the spring of 2021, and have not experienced any virus infection in this period, save for two days in January of 2023, tested "positive" (false?) then, but over with within the week. Also in that period, no other "colds" or respiratory infections, a new happy aspect of my life as an octagenarian.

Research this for yourself. A great more deal of professional medical literature on this issue is now available, prompted by the epidemic and the unsane response of ignorant close-minded government officials and their profit-seeking pharmo-medical advisers.
