My daughter-in-law’s mother grew up in that area. She and her friend went to the Bird-in-Hand where she met her first husband.
They moved to Washington State where she divorced him because he was cheating on her.
She met a guy on a blind date and they got married in about three months. They’ve been married for over 50 years.
That’s a cute story.
Well not the cheating part, but it sure worked out in the long run for the true match to come along from a blind date.
The cheater should have known that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!
