yes
i would like hear what these toxic dangerous materials are
In 2023, about 25% of new cars sold in California were electric vehicles, with the state leading the nation in EV adoption.
My guess would be asbestos and lead. Fertilizer and other chemicals stored in the homes would have burnt but may have left some residue. But hardly in enough quantity that would condem the whole site as toxic.
Plastics, when they burn, release a number of toxins.
“...what these toxic dangerous materials are”
How many cans of paint, motor oil, and pesticides are stored in the average suburban garage?
I agree that whatever that number/amount is, it should be nominal and expected in most cases.
Carbon. Carbon is toxic to all life forms. If you had, say, carbon compounds in the air we would all die rather quickly from the toxic effects. (/sarc, for those that need this tag)
I also had a young environmentalist tell me about nasty chlorine. I asked her if she had chlorine compounds in her body. She said something like, "I certainly hope not!" I simply shook my head and left.
