Yes, there are some others, but not many, most see the bright light and see their re,atives etc. There was no seeing anything where I went through - total darkness, heat (likely due to the fever I had), couldn’t breathe and felt like I was suffocatin - and ,ots of sounds that I couldn’t make out- frightening experience. At the end of it I got “sent” to the “outer dsrkness” where I felt a very weird feeling of not existing, BUT being conscious of being all alone- that i think was as frightening as what my mind “saw” in my imagination about hell.
I was 17 at the time- many decades later and I still see it as though it just happened.
“many decades later and I still see it as though it just happened.”
That is one of the characteristics of an NDE as at the higher level of consciousness where they are experienced, time and space collapse.
This causes the memory to be re-experienced every time it is recalled. As long as a person does not move the experience into their ego as a possession and define an identity around the experience, in which case they lose the higher connection.
I’m sorry you experienced that. It sounds awful.
Could the fever have caused you to be delirious?
I’m with you....no more of that.
Best wishes to you.
