To my quick memory......ALL Arab states are fictions of European imperialism.
So....there.
We drew the first lines in the sand, we’ll just redraw them and let the savages fight it out amongst themselves....with Western arms of course.
Would be good for business.

I recall that the Accille Lauro spawned a joke about “The Klinghoffer cocktail; two shots and a splash.”
What, too soon after?

They are full of refugees already from the Iraq war, Afghanistan and the Arab Spring. Almost like a plan to overload the system and send Islamist to the West and beyond.

The Palestinians are their own worst enemy.
And twas ever thus.
The article claims lots of accomplishments for the "Palestinians", but they're just claiming credit for things that happened in areas where at least some "Palestinians" live.
I've been to Israel, and you can immediately tell when you're in a "Palesstian"/Muslim controlled area because the place is a dump. There is trash from empty coke cans to rotting garbage everywhere. The exception was the Temple Mount (a Muslim-controlled area) which is also exceptional in that despite being controlled by the Muslims, 9 out of 10 people there are Christians or Jews.
If they don't - as a culture - have enough pride to pick up their own trash, then they are not - as a culture - ever going to be successful, regardless of who the politicians at the top are.

One wonders why Israel’s Deep State has allowed that human pestilence to continue to threaten Israel.
But then I recall what Randolph Bourne wrote...
“War is the health of the State.”
And then my sympathy and support for Israel circles the bowl.

Correct. The old king had wounded paliscum cleaned up and staged for a film starring himself.
I barely remember the film clip but he was riding a white horse and stabbing the scum....lol.
He deserved an Oscar.

Jordan is and was the second state in a two state solution.
But the palestinians are such an evil virus, the King can’t accept them.
Sucks to be that evil. palestinians will rot in place forever because nobody can accept their evil.

And..........
The Arab nations started the war, directly, in 1948, trying to eliminate the nascent idependent state of Israel. They, the Arab nations, directly, lost miserably. After a few more attempts like that they quit attacking Israel directly, but supported the Arabs of Palestine to continue their war.
They - Syra, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia should take in all the residents of Gaza, and give them citizenship in their countries and integrating them into their national societies - no more “refugees”.

Sick, but funny...
I was in college when we had toga parties and Jim Jones Punch. (Actually gorilla or trash can punch with grain)

In fairness to the Jordanians, they’ve taken in a ton of refugees over the years. Every time we or somebody else starts bombing something and there is a wave of refugees - from Iraq, then Syria, then Yemen, etc. - Jordan has taken in a large number of refugees. But I suspect the Gazans are such an extreme lot that it’s too much to ask even of Jordan.
To: MtnClimber
Yeah, every time the “palestinians” were welcomed they created hatred and violence.
So, OK, let’s not bother with looking at history and go ahead and invite this decade’s pack of rabid dogs into your back yard. Yeah, there is a plan.

Countries like Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan took Palestinians in after the 6 Day War in 1967, only to find out that they were setting up terrorist networks throughout those countries, in order to stir up trouble in those countries, and to continue attacks on Israel. They ended up chasing them down, and tossing them out of those countries.

One wonders why Israel . . . has allowed that human pestilence to continue . . .
Because they keep their commitments as best they can.
This stemmed from the "6-Day War". At the end of it, while the Muslim armies in the field had been defeated, there were still a billion Muslims around the world who had not been involved. So, as part of the peace "deal" (it wasn't a treaty because the Muslim combatants did not recognize Israel as a state), the Israelis allowed limited "Palestinian" control of certain areas that had previously been part of the original British allocation to Muslims.
Like a lot of peace "deals" there were compromises. The Israelis have been paying a price for that compromise every since, but though they won the "6-Day" war they were nearly exhausted militarily as well. It seemed - to them - like they best deal they could make at the time. It might even have been true.
But that has left a bleeding sore that they still have to deal with. Gaza itself is such a shithole that they don't want it. But what is called the West Bank (and is more properly known as Judea and Samaria) should be taken over explicitly, as well as all of the nominally Muslim-controlled parts of Israel. Even the "Palestinians" would be better off under Israeli administration than under their own corrupt rulers.
