Haha! I can probably find out what escrow is if I could ever get one of the 5 lawyers I’ve contacted to return my call. Nothing is moving at all until I have a lawyer. Then, I’ll likely return to Halifax for or after the closing, but my sister and I will probably stay home and enjoy homemade fruity martinis. She’s dying to try my pomegranate, mango, pineapple and orange creamsicle martinis, not all at once of course. Metro Halifax has 6 universities/colleges so it’s a really big party town and the bars are always filled with a strange mix of 20-somethings and 30-50 year old businessmen hoping to shag one of them.
My sister also has a year old puppy that she needs to re-home. He’s a 4 pound Yorkie with a mouth the size of the province and her condo neighbours in every direction are complaining about how noisy the little guy is. The only reason she hasn’t been thrown out, fined or written up yet is that she’s the condo President! She’s come to understand that this isn’t the right time of her life for a puppy. So I’m getting a new dog on this trip.
A new little doggie! I remember your sad outcome with your last one. It was heartbreaking to read about. Very nice to hear you will have a new one. Congrats.
P.S. Terriers are the best!
