” Can a JAG officer properly advise their commander if they believe that the head of their chain of command, the Commander in Chief and SECDEF, are nazis?

Major [Grace] Preston is the Chief of Administrative Law at 2d Infantry Division. You can read her comments here referring to orders to cancel observance events and the people who cancel them as nazis.

In another post, she mocks scripture by saying “God is a spirit and has not a body like men,” then says Christian transphobes should get over it.

The person who sent me these said “it seems that she is advising her commanders and clients at 2ID to violate Federal law, kind of a significant violation of a Judge Advocate. As Chief of Administrative Law, she is the go-to POC for all regulatory compliance and interpretation questions within the division. With SecDef’s new focus on warfighting, I can only imagine how dangerous it would be to have a JAG like her running point over at 2ID if anything was ever to kick off in PACOM. She cannot separate her partisan rancor from her official duties.”

I asked a long time ago, “Who IS our MIL?”.

It’s likely not up to what it was in even 2018.

Hegseth needs time to restore MIL, top down, academies included, to harden recrument standards and training requirements.🛎🚀
