I learned that nicotine is not addictive. Nicotine is in eggplant, white potatoes, etc. and I don’t recall anyone jonesing for eggplant or white potatoes. Its the 500+ chemicals that tobacco companies insert into the tobacco, filter and paper that is addictive. Check out Barbara O’Neil for more information.
Well I grow and cure my own tobacco and I’m crazy addicted. 🤣 But seriously I think it’s the smoking ritual and the hand to mouth action I’m addicted to. If I haven’t had my nicotine for 2+ hours I’m not all that great to be around.
