I think Trump hinted that the US may be forced to put forces in Ukraine to remove the WWIII threat Zelensky poses.
It was the way Trump said it - he wasn’t regretting that he would have to go back on his own stated interests, but he was hinting new development may pose such a risk that America would have to get involved to eliminate the threat Zelensky poses.
I wonder if Zelensky’s officials are asking for US help removing him? CIA and Deep State Intel are already in place in Ukraine and Zelensky’s officials may correctly judge that those assets will put down any attempt Ukrainians make to remove Zelensky.
Trump knows the US will not give Zelensky access to satellite information they need. I don’t know to what capacity NATO could direct weapons - but they wouldn’t want to be ‘left holding the bag’ and if they have access to satellites, it’s at certain times of the day those satellites are in range - the world would know, for example, if France or Germany accessed a satellite to get long range missile coordinates.
Trump may be thinking of acting against the NATO commanders who are providing the brains and technology to make threats like this - the whole idea of Zelensky hitting a refinery and threatening Moscow while Trump is negotiating peace.
It’s clear Zelensky is trying to threaten WWIII and is now too dangerous. They didn’t bother talking to him - they are past that.
So Zelensky is still only faking interest in peace, but I wonder if he or his NATO handlers ‘got the hint’ and don’t want a visit from AMerican Spec Ops?
