You do have a lot going on in your life. Sorry for your loss of your step-father. Taking care of the estate and related things as well as closing on your business sounds so overwhelming all at the same time. Praying for you as you navigate all these things. May your days become better as the month goes on and the joys of a wedding come closer.

Thank you for your condolences. The timing couldn’t be worse but I’ll handle it the same way I would if I were eating an elephant - one bite at a time. I am going to have to pass on the Bridge National Championships that are starting in Memphis in 11 days though. What I really want to do is throw all of my technology away. My phone keeps blowing up with sometimes 20 texts coming in within minutes of each other. I’d turn it off and force people to use only my land line to reach me but my staff has become dependent on being able to contact me by text. They’re mostly teenagers and it’s never been a problem until this week. Two weeks from today and that part of my life will be over. Then I’ll have time to properly grieve the loss of my stepfather. Right now I’m in the middle of a blinding s***storm and barely know what day of the week it is.
