I read your story, and to be honest, it seems like an overreaction. I wasn’t there. I don’t even have kids in school, so there are going to be some family situations I’ll never quite understand first hand.
You wanted the school to respect your daughter’s autonomy, and not have her shilling for them like some unpaid employee. I get that. You were letting your kid know that you cared about how she was treated by the school. That part I understand.
So liberals hate segregation unless it’s against Whites....
once in the early 90’s I used the phrase “black”, and a white woman I worked with said they prefer “afro-american”. The comedic part is that that very week I read an article in either Newsweek or Time magazine where the gist was that they polled black people about their preferred label and overwhelmingly they preferred “black”.
That was my first experience with a confused white liberal.

To your point, you would think a child of a mixed marriage with a White mother would be considered White not black....e.g. obama, but as you said, more advantages to identify as a minority.

Let me break it down simple for you.
The school said they were going to have a massive outdoor Carnival for the students. Students had to bring in money or they would be put in detention for the day. I don’t think I was overreacting to that
