And Germany? Romania? Scotland? Ireland? I could go on. Or is every country somehow special and we should not hold the entirety of Europe accountable for their destruction of basic human rights and freedoms?
You are welcome to think what you like, but as one who lives here and travels here and has friends here (and was regularly in Germany until recently), that’s not the local vibe at all.
Everybody everywhere has been glad to call the local politicians every name in the book, to slag off immigrants (”negros de ^&&%%$”), at work, in ways that WOULD raise eyebrows even in Redding, open racism, whatever.
