Aliens??
Maybe someone just found a neat looking rock, and made some stuff out of it?

Any reference to aliens would have been meant as humor. Extraterrestrial just means it originated not on Earth.

I wish I could say “Of extra terrestrial origin” like the narrator on Ancient Aliens. He really has that down to an art.

I’m glad our ancestors appreciated the value of metal that fell from the sky.
Today, people should be buried with their phones. It’s who they are.

The moment I read the headline I though, "meteor iron".
And sure enough.
Cool story bro, it even has aliens!
(ok extra terrestrial artifacts. Close enough)

I’m pretty sure Excalibur was made out of that stuff too.

That is really something special. It is always surprising to see how good those ancient artisans were.

Apparently ancient people would make things out of meteorites. The Bible even has a recounting of a speech from an official in Ephesus—-
“People of Ephesus! What person is there who doesn’t know that the city of the Ephesians is the temple guardian of the great Artemis, and of the image that fell from heaven?” -Acts 19:35
I assume someone found a meteorite which had feminine curves somewhat and they built the Temple of Diana around it. fascinating.

I believe they found something like that in King Tut’s tomb. A knife.
