I disagree. Buycotts can cause good things to happen. I'll bet there were many others like me who joined in the Goya Foods Buycott during Trump-45 as a counter-measure to the Goya Boycott, who had never before bought Goya products, and found them to their liking. And I still buy them!

My first trip to the local grocery chain-store after hearing of the Boycott/Buycott, I was going down the Hispanic & Asian foods aisle looking to my right, searching for the name Goya. And as I passed a Hispanic-looking woman facing towards the left side, I heard her let out her breath in one of those "sounds of exasperation," and then I overheard her say to nobody in particular: "Nobody can tell *ME* what I can't buy!"

Aha! I knew instantly I'd found the Goya products, and as soon as she'd pulled down a bunch of items into her cart and moved on, I went over to look, and sure enough, there were a number of shelves, head-to-toe level, maybe 10-12 feet wide, of only Goya products. Heh heh!
