This argument is silly. Here’s why…Before God destroyed Israel (the Northern Kingdom) in the 8th Century BC, the Believers of the north came south to Judah (the southern kingdom). The size of Jerusalem doubled in a few days. So actually, the 10 tribes are represented in Israel today. They are not lost. The unbelievers of Israel were dispersed among the Assyrian Empire. They have assimilated with those cultures.
2 Chronicles 15
In the time of King Asa:
...he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
And he gathered all Judah and and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.
So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem...
