I was going to make a similar comment. However, your post is better in every way.
Apparently, she didn’t make it lame and gay enough.
Now that she’s completely destroyed the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises and cost Disney literally billions of dollars with her Feminazi/Woke BS nobody wanted to watch......
It was changed, to "The Thread."
The franchise had a story to it. Rather than continuing to tell that story, Kathleen Kennedy chose to kill off the original story and move on to building the Woke Star.
There is no going back now. She needed to connect with the older fans and build to the story in a way to engender a younger fans base. It would have been a challenge they would have been hard to accomplish. She made it impossible.
So ya, it’s dead.
> Can Star Wars reclaim its uncontested cinematic throne?
Only if they do a crossover and bring in Deadpool to train the next generation of Jedi.
Thank you Eric Cartman for exposing the panderverse.
Who is that in the foreground? Barry Manilow?
I stopped watching after the Teddy Bears.
The rest are absolutely terrible no one asked for.
Only one scene in the prequels that is worth anything - Darth Maul lightsabre fight.
Never was a fan myself...plus in REAL life Luke is a Puke.
I loved the original Star Wars trilogy. I even enjoyed the prequel trilogy. But the sequel trilogy was a disaster that ruined the whole franchise. She ruined Indiana Jones as well. Everything she touched wasn’t worth watching. It’s good that she’ll be gone, but I’m afraid it’s too late.
Yes, they really made it and showed it on television. The horror.
Have any other sources reported on this? The trade rags, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, etc?
And you have to blame that one on Lucas.
Lost in this is her influence not just on film and streaming shows, but the Park. When Disney was creating a “Disney Experience” theme area for the Park, she insisted on making it be about her new characters and shows. Nobody watched them, so nobody went. They even had an Uber expensive hotel that went belly up.
Agreed. At this point the damage has been done, and I’ve made peace with the fact that the franchise i loved 30 years ago is gone.
