Rachel has never breathed oxygen outside of the liberal bubble, starting with her high school days at Castro Valley High School. She graduated 22 years after me, and it’s a bastion of wokeness unparalleled in its history. I was subjected to ostracism my last few months, for the “crime” of accepting an ROTC scholarship. The epithets directed at me were sophomoric, and a few came from teachers who were “disappointed” in my decision.

To their credit, I was never spat upon, which would have ended badly for them.

Rachel will find out soon enough that she is merely an employee at MSNBC, albeit an extremely overpaid employee. Her wokeness, inculcated over decades, will run headlong into economic reality. She won’t know what hit her.
