They looked recent. Do you think measles magically became less deadly over time?
Since measles has effectively been eliminated, they can't be current. And medical treatment with anti-biotics, anti-virals, and anti-inflammatories, along with other improved treatments can greatly change that outcome. Those things were NOT available when we were kids with the measles.
They have NEVER been eliminated down here on the Texas border. My wife, who worked for 10 years in juvenile detention, saw many measles cases. (Along with many other so-called "effectively eliminated" diseases.)
How does that jive with measles allegedly being eradicated in the US?
The question of where the measles came from still exists.
