Intel is stuck in entrenched corporate arrogance.
Remember Rambus C-Rim?
Intel thought they were going to force the market to use Rambus memory sticks at considerable profit to themselves because after all, THEY were Intel and they’re THE Best!
And such thinking continues to permeate the company, they can’t innovate if they’re so far up their own backsides that they can’t get beyond “But we’re Intel!”
I still have my old rambus machine somewhere. It is only virtual today but I still have it as hardware somewhare.
Might still even have an old Itanium proc. I hated those POS
I once wrote “The Joy of EFI” which might still be out there somewhere.
