So the kid got straight A grades with the gut courses he took being Advanced Placement
OK, so this was a straight-A GPA...and a mighty SAT score. This kid should have a case. But the universities will probably argue that they look for more than just good grades...

But the universities will probably argue that they look for more than just good grades. Sure they do, because that's their vehicle to discriminate. But these are high end technology schools, so exactly what else is it that could justify rejecting the kids with the best academics? A winning smile? Serving meals to the poor?
