What the h*ll is the matter with Maine?
It’s the influx from MA/NYC etc; there is a huge split between the coast from NH to Bar Harbor, where the big money is, and the rest of the state inland. Rural and traditional Mainers are pretty solidly conservative, but they are often outnumbered and always heavily outspent.
