Yes, I meant to add Archbishop Vigano. Unlikely, given that Francis excommunicated him, and I don’t know how that would work, given that the pope obviously has to be Catholic. From a canon law perspective, are excommunicated persons considered to be Catholic? I know it’s kind of immaterial from God’s perspective. I mean there are saints who were excommunicated.
