Won? You think Russia has won something?

How many Russian soldiers have died?
How many maimed?

How many tanks destroyed?
Etc etc etc

Hardly a win.

"Won? You think Russia has won something?"

It's a WWII victory event. Has nothing to do with Ukraine. Russia has every right to celebrate their victory over the Germans. They fought their hearts out.

The article says that the BFBS article uses "open-source investigative project Oryx" which is a small cosortium in the Netherlands, and the British " International Institute for Strategic Studies." The article mentions "Russian mil-bloggers" without saying which.

What is interesting, as one reads the entire article is its last sentences:

It's also adapted its tactics, launching dismounted infantry assaults rather than using massed armour.

And with Russia making slow grinding gains, the tally of tank losses doesn't necessarily tell the full story.

Another BFBS article is titled "British Army 'would struggle' to put troops on the ground in Ukraine."
