Yes, Republicans would be exposed, but I believe that most of the stolen money has been spent and invested over the years. Look at all the lavish mansions owned by the DC pols who entered Congress with modest fortunes that grew to great fortunes.
It would be just desserts to convict them and take their assets as repayment, leaving them penniless in their dotage. But you and I both know that will never happen. Nor will “thousands” be arrested and imprisoned.
I’d be happy if a dozen or a hundred were arrested, tried, convicted and sent to prison. But I won’t keep my hopes up for even that very low bar. Maybe if Trump was 50 years old and could serve four terms, then we’d have a prayer.
JD is performing very well. I hope he learns a lot from Trump and can get elected for eight years, but I despair that the nation will snap back to its old ways and elect a rabid commie “democrat” in ‘28 or ‘32.
