That problem was solved years ago - ‘donors’ pay Publishers NOT to print the books. Then the numbers show sales but there no bad ‘evidence’ showing up in the secondary markets. In the old days used book stores would get those political books for pennies on the dollar - and still have to dump them. Remember when Jill Biden was calling for a BIG book deal - from democrats. It’s telling - dot connecting.
I used to go to these estate sales in Georgetown and load up the station wagon to the pool house alley load up boxes of these boxes for teenage fire pit parties, cheaper than a load of wood from WV.
Now those $25-$45 dollar books are at Dollar Tree for $1.25, and still they are overpriced.
