You realize that mothers give preferential treatment to their children even when married to the biological father don’t you?
The difference is the married bio dad recognizes the need and fitness for it and isn’t stupidly seeing his offspring as competition.
There is no need for you to admonish or otherwise lecture me.
I am myself a father and already understood this. Nothing in my previous posts could be interpreted as claiming that I said otherwise. I was opining solely on the status of the "boyfriend."
