Its just another technology to me. With current charging infrastructure I wouldn’t have one as my primary car but would consider one as a secondary car if i commuted and the prices came down. I don’t have any delusion owning one ‘saves the planet’ and doubt many people do.
I’ve recently seen 2 Teslas with bumper stickers in my city. One that says ‘Oust Elon from Tesla’ and the other ‘I bought this before we knew Elon was crazy.’ ...as if anyone cares about their opinion.
Imagine being so insecure you feel the need to put one of those bumper stickers on your car.
While on a business trip a few years ago, I saw a Tesla with a vanity plate that read something like "COALPWRD"
