I like the advance notice as well, and I’m sure people, especially in tornado prone areas, would rather be warned than die.
Is that the better option than warning people? Sheesh.
And for me, having grown up in NYS snow belts, snow is snow, but it still helps to know what’s coming so you can be ready for it. But ICE? That is NOT something to mess with. You can’t walk on it or drive on it. And there are too many accounts of people getting caught in winter weather they didn’t expect and dying from it.

This thread is a small part of a small part of a message board on the vast internet-www.
Seems to me, if people are "sophisticated" enough to be on this thread, they probably have TV and they probably have a weather app(Windows comes with one).
So, the question is, who is your audience that would be unaware of a stormageddon coming our way ?
