What’s an oxygen absorber and where can I get one?
Read about them first.
Basically they are a packet of iron dust and salt to create rust. This process quickly absorbs all O2 in the air, thus preserving the food.
Oxygen absorbers serve the purpose of eliminating residual oxygen within enclosed spaces. Oxygen causes food to spoil in many ways.
They do not add any flavor or contamination to the food.
I buy them on Amazon. Just Google them and there are plenty of excellent websites explaining how best to use them and the best quantity based upon the specific food and size of container.
I hope they don't just have this benign attitude "everyone was doing it at the time" and not imprison the thieves.
I can tell you for sure the IRS would not be benign to be if I left one uncrossed 't' or undotted 'i' on my 1040.
Much less if I stiffed them.
I will, thank you
