I was listening to a talk show yesterday that was discussing the Ohio poultry situation. They had some health experts and someone from the poultry association on. While they discussed the destruction of the flocks, they didn’t discuss the how. I was thinking mass grave? Incineration? Or even being sold to the Colonel. (Most exhibit no signs of the disease.)

Many of those smaller transactions are probably unsupervised, maybe even off the books. So, I would think there are plenty opportunities for trading birds under the table.
