I enjoy reading...have since I was a kid. I would like to be able to read every afternoon, but it doesn't always work out that way. I usually have 3-5 different books going at once, and I try to read 20 pages from each. So far this week I haven't been able to do it. Had to clean a foot of snow off my car yesterday afternoon so I could run to the grocery store. Then today, I had a doctor's appointment. Interruptions like that take up more time than I'd like.

At night, I try to read from two books on my kindle. Once I start dozing off, and get tired of reading the same page over and over, I turn the light out. I'm pretty lucky that although I'm 77, and have an irritable bladder, I can usually sleep all night without having to get up to hit the toilet. I'm a side sleeper, so the only time I get the urge is when I roll over on my other side. If I'm sleepy enough I can ignore it and go back to sleep. If I do have to get up, I can usually get right back to sleep.

I’m a voracious reader as well. It’s my main form of “recreation”, if it can be called that.
