Canadian tariffs have long been extremely unfair to the US.
But the US also provides Financial aid and mlitary defense$$$$. This is why Trump said it should become the 51st state, and asserted that without US funding, Canada would cease to exist.
Are these new tariffs or have they been in place since before Trump?
They seem ridiculously onerous and extremely protectionist.
