At the Food Lion I go to the cashiers talk about it all the time. But usually it is in the hundreds or maybe over $1,000 not over $10,000!!!

In Texas a family of 6 gets about$ 1350
Loaded every month so unless the family never spent much on food it would be hard to show large balances after first trip to store
Even that amount is aggravating to those paying taxes so others don’t have to work

In the case of ordinary, non-illegal SNAP and TANF recipients that would be typical (also including families where only the children are citizens).
