I respect you also my old friend. I agree. Here is the deal with this. While I absolutely trust Trump’s good intentions and efforts, I do not trust the loyalty of the technocrats around him. They have never had any loyalties to anything but themselves, power. control, and money. Even the new God Musk.
Cooler heads need to prevail. It is a huge mistake to get caught up in hero worship and making them Gods to trust blindly. Their interests are absolutely NOT the same as Trumps. They are right now hedging bets and building the environment, network, and political control they will need going forward into the future. They are NOT doing this for us, they are doing it purely for themselves.
They are setting the trap that will be sprung when Trump is gone four years from now. They all have one interest as a priority in the long run. To enslave and rule the world with technology. This reality has been talked about for decades now... Orwell wrote about it. Now we are actually seeing it play out right in front of our eyes in real time.
To blindly trust these entities without question and due caution is a huge mistake. Their intentions are not the same as Trumps. They are counting on setting themselves up in a better position to complete their true end goals. The heroes today will turn on us tomorrow. Count on it.
That is insightful and crucial. Vigilance is of upmost importance, and the first line of defense.
I do believe that an aware society can keep itself safe from the creeping crud of tyranny. Our society suffers greatly from lack of awareness on the part of its citizens. That is, in the final analysis, our fault. We failed to shoulder an equal burden of civil service and teaching jobs. Lack of participation just about got us steamrollered. Men like Trump are rare. We are foolish to let our destiny be protected by a fluke of a man. I hope citizens will recognize the situation they have placed themselves in, and actively participate in all levels of self-governance.
I think Musk is a good man. Certainly an ambitious man. Compared to Thomas Edison, Musk is a real gentleman. Those sort of men have lasting affects on society, mostly good. The government, on the other hand, has a knack of making everything turn rancid. It is our duty to participate in that government. It is rancid only because we allow that.
Most of the acts against ordinary people perpetrated by governments at the behest of the very wealthy can be attributed to the sentiments expressed in Bilderburger Group proceedings documents. The population is growing while natural resources are finite. They have taken that issue upon themselves mainly to protect themselves. Issues related to population growth and limited resources are fundamental to human survival. Citizens need to help formulate solutions to those particular issues so that "elite entities" aren't the only ones finding solutions. That is the only way that the solutions do not entirely favor the elite.
Musk wants to take us to Mars and beyond. It is quite clear to me that the solutions to natural resource problems are centered upon that very quest.
Giant kudos to Musk.
