Yup. From what I've read, white farmers and ranchers were feeding the country - then they had their farms and ranchers confiscated and given to the afflicted class, which then ran said farms and ranchers into the ground, producing nothing.

Eh? Really? The Whites arrived in South Africa at the same time the Great Bantu expansion was extending its never-ending
reach into the region.

The reason for the expansion was the masterful plan of the Bantu people, at the time led by Shaka-Zulu, to despoil one
region after the other, moving South to as-of-yet despoiled territory.

When British, Boers, and Bantu pushed into South Africa, the land only had migratory bands of Hottentots traipsing through.
