OK, so I say to myself, Bookshelf you quit listening to female vocalists when Ella Fitzgerald drifted off. So I spent a week trying to find a song performed by this ditz, and so help me, I did not once connect. She might be the second coming of Joan Sutherland, but if she is popular, and played over and over on radio stations, you couldn’t prove it by me. She still seems like a tall broad with no titties.
LOL! I had a long drive last year up to Massachussets, around an 8 hour drive, and I listened to Taylor Ditz albums out of curiousity.
After about an hour I said to myself “What the hell am I listening to? NOTHING” It was like listening to endless TV commercials. Her biggest hit “Shake it off” sounds like a commercial for Weight watchers diet milk shakes. “Come on gang, shake off those pounds, shake it off, shake it off” duh.
I concluded that what’s really going on here is the usual dork pop and image. The music is merely an excuse to “celebri-tize” her, it could have been anything else besides music, acting, modeling.
Anyway, I heard a beautiful song the other day by this woman named Mitski. Never heard of her, but the second I heard this song I loved it. Why is she not relentlessly promoted in the media? I guess she has to endorse DemoMarxists before that happens.
