Detroit Red Wing fans ruined my appreciation of this song.

Like every ... that repeats the “so good” on “Sweet Caroline”.

My top 3 rock songs are...

1. Gimme Shelter
2. Whipping Post
3. Sympathy for the Devil

Sometimes the order is changed...but it’s always those top 3 for my list.

I did see Eric/Derek and the Dominoes live and the opening song, after Eric/Derek finished tuning his guitar was...”Layla” - it was an awesome start to the concert!

18 million is nothing. Bing Crosby’s White Christmas sold 50 million copies. And it’s actually listenable unlike the Journey song.

I saw that many moons ago...from a link you provided.

Almost as classic as the movie.

It is a very good song. But would never call it the best song of all time.

Speaking of Layla, here’s a tip of the hat to Rita Coolidge, who actually conceived the nice little piano melody but unfortunately didn’t get paid for it.

Still a great song, give Rita credit.

“Behind Blue Eyes” too. But the one I really like is “My Wife”.
