Different times. The United States invaded Iraq in 2003. Yasser Arafat had just died in 2004 and there was a power struggle going on inside the Gaza Strip. Israel turned over Gaza in 2005.

The terror leaders of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have been killed.

Why not try a different approach? I don't think the United States will pay for it all, but I think we can provide peaceful leadership that uses industry in the region to provide the labor and materials.
